The Demon, Moloch

The Demon, Moloch

This blog will reveal Moloch. The demon, the false king, the false god. He is thriving. Proceed with caution.

Who is Moloch?

Moloch sometimes called Molech.

Moloch is the Canaanite god of child sacrifice. Idols of solid bronze depict Moloch’s image with much wood burning within him and a potent odor of brimstone. Children are placed within his hands as their flesh burns away from the heat rising from the fires. Moloch has been interpreted to mean “the king”, “lord”, or “master”. Moloch’s name appears several times within the bible in the old testament and new. The earliest translation of the bible from Hebrew to Greek (the Septuagint) refers to Moloch as “your Moloch” …or your king, your master if supplementing other translations. Moloch also makes frequent pop culture appearances in TV shows and movies, symbolizing that he has not been forgotten. In fact, I’m going to make the case that Moloch is doing better than ever.

Why is this demon important?

There’s an old Indian parable about two wolves. One represent good and the other represents evil. These wolves are said to be locked in a battle, clawing at each other in an attempt to be the last surviving. When asked which wolf will win the battle, the Indian replies, “whichever one you feed”. Much like this parable, I believe Moloch is alive and well today feeding on the child sacrifice we call abortion. Hollywood openly creates movies and series depicting old gods in a modern time period. These gods in these shows get stronger by indulging in what they are the god over. Moloch too grows in power as millions of human children are murdered and incinerated every year. Yet, he goes almost completely unnoticed.

So what does history and Bible say about Moloch?

Moloch is mentioned in Leviticus 5 times. Most notably Leviticus 20:3 which says, “And I will set my face against that man, and will cut him off from among his people; because he hath given of his seed unto Molech, to defile my sanctuary, and to profane my holy name.” and Leviticus 20:5 which says, “Then I will set my face against that man, and against his family, and will cut him off, and all that go whoring after him, to commit whoredom with Molech, from among their people.” Moloch in the bible is an idol in which children where sacrificed as Leviticus 20:3 implies by stating man gives his seed to Moloch. Lets not speculate too much though. Surely, there must be more within the Bible on the matter?

The word Tophet appears numerous times within the bible and historical record. Shlomo Yitzchaki, a 12th century author, scholar, and vintner postulates that Tophet is Moloch. This has far reaching biblical roots as you will see. Yitzchaki, referring to Tophet (Moloch) continues, “which was made of brass; and they heated him from his lower parts; and his hands being stretched out, and made hot, they put the child between his hands, and it was burnt; when it vehemently cried out the priests beat a drum, that the father might not hear the voice of his son, and his heart might not be moved.”

Jeremiah 7:31 states: “And they have built the high places of Tophet, which is in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire; which I commanded them not..”

Both of these facts combined confirms that the Bible is acknowledging that Moloch is directly associated with child sacrifice and fire. The Bible remains consistent on this topic through the numerous mentions of Moloch.

How serious of an Idol was Moloch in the Bible?

As discussed above, Tophet is widely considered to be in reference to Moloch. Isaiah 30:33 goes as far as acknowledging “For Tophet is ordained of old…” Though the history is fragmented and we cannot know for certain, Moloch, like lucifer, may have held some rank within heaven before the fall. In other words, Moloch was potentially invested with authority far before he was worshiped as a god since the Bible articulates that he was “ordained of old”. I may be incorrect about this, but I do not believe the Bible gives this title or luxury to any other being. This signifies to me that Moloch was of great importance at one time or another. Like lucifer, it is important to remember that they were not always evil beings. Lucifer, at one point, was a musician and then later became the prince of darkness, deception, and lies. Moloch too may have served a different role before the fall. Admittedly, this is all speculation based on the knowledge we have of fallen angles and context from the Bible.

Leviticus refers to Moloch several times and is directly associated with “passing through the fire” even by secular historians. Remember this. It will be very important later in the discussion.

Jeremiah 32:35 states, “And they built the high places of Baal, which are in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to cause their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire unto Molech which I commanded them not, neither came it into my mind, that they should do this abomination.” This passage stating “pass through the fires” has been argued to represent simple symbolism of passing of ones body over or across a flame as a type of rite. However, the original Hebrew translation directly translates “to burn” negating any arguments to the contrary.

In Winston Churchills book “the gathering storm”, Churchill describes Adolf Hitler as follows:

“He had called from the depths of defeat the dark and savage furies latent in the most numerous, most serviceable, ruthless, contradictory and ill-starred race in Europe. He had conjured up the fearful idol of an all-devouring Moloch of which he was the priest and incarnation”

Winston Churchill, in this passage, associates the atrocities committed by Adolf Hitler with the demon Moloch of all possible analogies. Hitler, after all, invented the most heinous human disposal methods ever dreamt of. For those of you who have studied the Holocaust or have seen movies such as Schindlers List, you know the horror of the realization of what seemed to be snow but later finding out it was human ash pouring down from the sky. Those people killed passed through the fires, much like those sacrifices mentioned in the Bible. 6 Million Jews where said to be killed during this time. Winston Churchill was smart enough to recognize the enemy. So to we must be.

Once you have an understanding of who and what Moloch is, then there is no need for stronger evidence that God is, in fact, against abortion. God openly says those that give their seed (their children) to Moloch will be cut off from God. He even refers to this act as an abomination.

Melissa Farrell, the Director of research for Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast stated:

“After the physician has confirmed the tissue correlates with gestational age, tissue is placed in a biohazard container and gets discarded into a single container and then is placed in the freezer. Anything after 16 weeks is immediately placed in the freezer after the procedure. And it is all sent away once a week for incineration. So that’s kind of the scope.”

The statement above is an explanation for the process in which planned Parenthood abortion clinics dispose of human fetal tissue. The remains of the infants are incinerated or passed through the flames at the end of the process. As of 2015, almost 5 years ago, more than 45.7 million abortions have taken place since 1970. With a conservative estimate of 900,000 + abortions happening every year, that number is likely closer to 51,000,000 abortions as of 2019. To put that into perspective, that is almost 9 times more death than the holocaust. Stated another way, the entirety of the holocaust only accounts for 12% of the total amount of all abortions.

Much like in our wolf analogy, our society is feeding Moloch. Churchill was smart enough to recognize that Hitler was Moloch incarnate. Why are we not smart enough to see that we have allowed 10 times worse things than the Holocaust to happen under our watch? God say feeding Moloch is an abomination. He also says that “I (God), will set my face against that man, and against his family, and I will cut him off.” There is no greater punishment than to be cut off from God. Knowing this, it is a lot easier to rationalize and understand the evil within the world. The world has embraced Moloch and God has cut them off. When someone is cut off from God, what upside down world views are they not capable of conjuring?

What is the point?

Simple: To devalue Gods most precious creation. God breathes life in, Moloch burns life out. The most effective battle strategy is to make sure the enemy doesn’t even show up to the fight. The two fallen angles together have effectively blinded our society, convinced us of false morality, stolen our identity, and aligned us against God. They know that God believes killing a child is an abomination. Why do you think the propaganda is so strong to convince you otherwise?

The good news is that Gods word is going to win. It is written. The tables are already beginning to flip. Do not despair. Do not live in fear. Be fruitful and multiply. If you want to change the world, start at home by having kids. Create, teach, Improve. All of the murdered souls are with God. And I promise you He hasn’t forgotten. Justice is the Lords.
